New wireless network systems (Wifi, GPRS):

Our solid experience in standard computer network installation led us to study wireless computing projects. Those new technologies consist in data transfers through radio waves (Wifi) or through the wireless telephony network (GPRS, General Packet Radio Service).

This way, you can directly transfer data with your mobile phone from the timber yard to your office.

In addition, the Wifi system enables you to know in real time your stock level of wood.
Chips :

For specific use (i.e.: management of timber park trees and of trees growing in a row, valuable tropical log), Data Concept launched a study about RFID electronic chips available on the market. Those chips implanted in the wood, can stock a great deal of information and suits long-term use better than a bar-code.
